I have run my own business since 12, starting out with locker room tuck shop, I’ve certainly come a long way, now owning mtvpromotional.com and allthingsbournemouth.com where no two weeks are the same.
This week include filming such artists like Newton Faulkner at the Sony building in London.
None of this would have been possible without the ever growing support from my mum, each and every day she surprises me, calling me with new idea or story about how well things are going.
I was particular impressed with her drive to take on the Island of Wight tourist board since the council decided they no longer needed or wanted to fund it.
Mum is certainly a social butterfly and much like myself is excellent at networking between businesses which stands her in good stead for creating her very own successful tourism website for the Isle of Wight.
This something I know she is very passionate about, as local business and tourism is the key to the very nature of the Isle of Wight. After all it is a Tourist attraction.
Lyn already has great links with various people,businesses and premises on the Isle of Wight and she never fails to seize an opportunity to network and tell people about what she has been up to and the opportunities that they could be included in, tirelessly promoting and buzzing with energy she spends established a business to business group called Wightbuzz, which has been so successful and is now expanding across the solent to a number of counties under the title of Business buzz.
Also affectionately know as a giggling granny don’t this distract you from the passion with which she conducts all of her business, having being dubbed by her friends as a networking queen and often look to by others to help them promote and further their own businesses, and all of this while running more than one of her own.
Lyn Blackledge is truly an exceptional woman worthy of any award and I would have no hesitations in recommending her to anyone as a friend, colleague or business guru, she is an inspiration to anyone she meets.

She is a lady with a massive heart and the wonderful thing about Lyn is, she is just so inspiring, so giving of her time and her energy.
