When Heath of Aspire, challenged the Giggly Grannies to gather Wightbuzz folk and others to refurbish a community room in the old Holy Trinity Church, it seemed quite a  task. However, the Giggly Grannies do like a good challenge so they set to by word of mouth and social media to summon the troops. Adam of Adam's Dezine Shop created a poster to be used across social media which we were all able to share to create awareness. A facebook event was created and people started booking in and offering their time. The date was decided - It was to be Sunday 9th March starting at 9.oo. First volunteer there was a muskateer!! aka Sean of A1 Garage doors.

Many other volunteers popped in . New Wightbuzzer, Laura Holmes  gave her time as did Tara of Flexible Living   and her family. Ed Potts of Ed Potts Electrical and Gary Leal of G & S Maintenance

Non wightbuzz members who came along were Dave Henderson of Rely on Andy and Do it all Dave, Johnny Keywood of Ace WAste , Liz and Billy Urry of wight homes  who all gave their time freely.
