About WightBuzz

Lyn Blackledge has been dubbed  a networking guru, having practised for many years! She is also known as The Connection Queen.  She has now decided to utilize those skills in order to help those running small businesses on the Isle of Wight. Many of you may already know that networking is key to the survival of many businesses and word of mouth is how it works on the Island. The WightBuzz Facebook fan page is where it all started. Lyn now runs networking events around the Island at different times and venues, which are hosted by various small businesses involved in WightBuzz - so there should be something for everyone. Enhancements are being added to membership and Wightbuzz now offers additional services e.g running facebook pages/twitter feeds that promote the group and individual members, business advice, business mentoring, business marketing, loan of business books, red funnel discount .We have justed started offering podcasting as an additional service as well as video marketing.  More projects are in the pipeline.

WightBuzz meetings take place at regular intervals at various times and various venues across the Isle of Wight.  This is an opportunity for members to come along to meet up, exchange business cards, information and get to know what everyone else is offering. It is all about building relationships. Once these relationships have started building, members will buy from those they know, like and trust.  We try to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get to meetings.

We also hold other meetings through the month including some daytime coffee meet ups. We try to make sure everyone has an opportunity to get to meetings.

Lyn is running a blog on this site, and eagerly encourages members to contribute towards it, and leave comments.
