The Giggly Grannies Challenge

The Giggly Grannies and WightBuzz.Co.Uk and friends will refurbish the community room so the long list of would be users can get booked in to start using the room. Lots of volunteers will work hard on Sunday to get the work done.

The brief is as follows
The challenge is set for the giggling grannies & wightbuzz members! - Transform the community hall at the new Aspire project, Trinity buildings, Dover Street Ryde, PO33 2BN!!

A challenge to transform the tired looking community room into a modern clean & bright usable space for community groups & others to use. - You will set the date - soon.

The skills that you will need to find to complete the challenge will be:
A gas fitter or engineer to remove the old gas fire & pipework capping off the pipes
An electrician to run a new simple ring main with 10 double sockets at flood level & a ring main for the new electric heating system.
Lots of volunteers to sand the walls & skirting & repaint.
Someone who is able to fit the new wood laminate floor
And other volunteers who will fetch & carry & help to consume gallons of tea!

The supplies Required:
Paint - already here
Laminate floor & underlay - already here
2x 10 meters electrical wiring/cable
10 double sockets & surface mounted back boxes
5 meters of cable trunking
6x wall mounted electrical heaters
